Hydrostatics & stability

Version 1.0.0

Hydrostatics and intact stability from a closed hull mesh (STL or OBJ) or a table of offsets: hydrostatic tables and curves, GZ curve and criteria, tanks and free surfaces, inclining experiment. Everything runs in your browser; your files stay on your device.

Version 1.0.0

This tool supports learning, teaching and early design with documented analytical checks and published-hull comparisons. Approval and onboard use require an approved stability instrument (IMO MSC.1/Circ.1229, IACS UR L5); this tool does not provide that approval.

Inputs

Required a value is needed for the selected calculation; it may already be filled. Optional may stay empty or be omitted. A second tag shows the source: From example, From file, Default, or Entered. Computed and Estimated identify derived values. Check imported values and assumptions before running.
Positions and signs: x from the AP (positive forward), y from the centreplane (positive to port), z above the baseline
APFP waterlinebaseline x, forwardz, up O seen from asterncentreplane portstarboard y, to portz, up O φ > 0
The frame of every position on this page (OpenNAOE convention): x from the aft perpendicular (AP), positive forward; y from the centreplane, positive to port; z above the baseline. The origin O is on the baseline, in the centreplane, at the AP. Heel φ is positive with the starboard side down, and trim t = TA − TF positive by the stern. This holds for xG, yG and KG (which is zG), the lightship, items, tanks and openings of section 4, and the inclining weights of section 5.

Ship and water
Length between perpendiculars and moulded breadth; they define CB, CWP and MCT. For a mesh they are first taken from its extent, which is usually longer than LPP: correct them.
Sea water 1.025, fresh water 1.000.
Waterplanes
Separated by commas or spaces; at most 200.
Fill evenly spaced draughts
Positive by the stern. TA and TF are read at the perpendiculars.
Loading condition and GZ curve
Weather criterion of MSC.267(85) Part A 2.3

Compute steady-wind heel, the roll excursion and the gust-area comparison from the corrected GZ curve.

Windage includes the ship and deck cargo above water. Supply it from drawings or measured geometry; underwater offsets do not determine it.

Between the windage centroid and the underwater lateral-area centroid, approximately half the draught below water.
Blank: estimate using 2.3.4 and corrected GM.

For a directly entered loading condition, enter physical KG here separately from the free-surface-corrected KG used for GZ. With weights and tanks, physical KG is calculated from those weights.

The steady heel and the gust energy areas are checked separately, with the wind from each side. Outside the range of the empirical roll formula, or where the GZ curve does not cover the interval needed, the criterion is not assessed. No overall statement of compliance is made.

About

This tool supports learning, teaching and early design with documented analytical checks and published-hull comparisons. Approval and onboard use require an approved stability instrument (IMO MSC.1/Circ.1229, IACS UR L5); this tool does not provide that approval.

Methods and limits
Capabilities and limits

The tool computes upright hydrostatics and, for one loading condition (given by its displacement or its even-keel draught and its centre of gravity, or by lightship, items and tanks), the GZ curve with its equilibria, cross curves and the general criteria of MSC.267(85) Part A 2.2, each checked separately with no overall verdict on compliance; the free-surface corrections of Part B 3.1; and the analysis or simulation of an inclining experiment. The weather criterion of Part A 2.3 is assessed from the windage and appendages given, once the deck edge, the openings and the windage have been confirmed, and only within the range of the Code's empirical roll formula.

Statics in calm water only: no ship motions and no damage stability. The weather criterion represents wind and rolling by the levers and the empirical roll angle of Part A 2.3. The hull mesh is taken as the watertight envelope. The results are exact for its flat facets, and they approach those of the curved surface as the facets get finer.

Method

The closed mesh is cut by the waterplane. In a frame whose third axis is normal to the waterplane, the divergence theorem gives the volume, the centre of buoyancy and the waterplane properties from the wetted faces alone; every integrand is at most quadratic over a flat face and is integrated exactly.

A table of offsets is first turned into a closed surface: a shape-preserving (monotone) cubic through each station and along each waterline, ends from the profile, and a flat deck at the highest waterline. A table that gives each station's keel and deck at side is built instead through each section from its keel to its deck at side, with the keel line and the sheer as given and no profile. The construction is versioned and recorded with each run.

Geometry

A mesh must be a closed, consistently oriented surface without self-intersections, with its faces pointing outward. It is checked before anything is computed, and a failed check says where. The checks find open, non-manifold and reversed edges, vertices where sheets meet, inverted and nested bodies, faces that cross and coplanar faces that overlap. They do not find faces that merely touch at a point or along an edge, nor a fold through a vertex shared by non-adjacent faces, and every verdict says so. STL and OBJ record neither units nor axes: state them, and check the extent shown after placement.

Conventions

OpenNAOE conventions: origin at the aft perpendicular on the baseline in the centreplane; x forward, y to port, z up; trim t = TA − TF, positive by the stern, and the trim angle positive bow up; heel positive with the starboard side down; Δm = ρ∇ in tonnes and Δ = ρg∇ in kN, with g = 9.81 m/s²; masses in tonnes, moments of masses in t·m. In the hydrostatic table MCT 1 cm uses BML in place of GML, because the centre of gravity is not part of that table.

Large angles

At each heel the hull is brought to equilibrium in sinkage and, with free trim, in trim, at constant displacement; GZ is the horizontal distance between the lines of action of weight and buoyancy. Equilibria are the zeros of GZ: sign changes and minima of |GZ| on the grid of angles, refined, and further roots searched for next to each root; the notes of each curve say what that search can miss.

Each equilibrium is classified from the stiffness in heel and trim, weighted by the work the levers do (the Hessian of the potential energy), where it is resolved on the faceted surface (its uncertainty is measured from three step sizes), and otherwise from the sign of GZ at shrinking excursions: stable, unstable, semi-stable (a double root), neutral or indeterminate, with "resolved" stated either way. The floating position reported is the stable equilibrium reached from upright in the direction of the heeling moment, if it lies within the admissible range of that side; a root beyond the downflooding angle is listed but never selected, and a symmetric loll is reported as a pair only if both angles are admissible.

Deck-edge immersion is reported for information; openings end the admissible range. The deck edge is the hull at or above the height given on the Inputs page, else the deck line of a table of offsets, else the top of the mesh, and the results say which. A height given counts all of the hull above it as deck edge: where the deck rises above that height, as with sheer, the deck-edge immersion angle found, and the limit of 80 % of it in the weather criterion (Part A 2.3.1.2), are lower bounds, on the safe side. A criterion is assessed only where every angle of its interval has a converged equilibrium, and it states the loading assumption it was assessed under. On the plot, GM0 is the slope of the tangent to GZ at upright. It is read at 1 rad (57.3°), where the tangent stands GM0 above its value at upright.

Tanks and free surfaces

A tank is a closed mesh (a box, or a file) clipped by the same engine as the hull, so the liquid's centre and the area and second moments of its surface are exact for the tank's facets. Following MSC.267(85) Part B 3.1, the initial GM is corrected by the transverse inertia of each liquid surface at 0° (at 5° and 98 % filling for a nominally full cargo tank). GZ is corrected either by the actual moment of fluid transfer, with every tank re-clipped at the heeled waterplane at constant volume inside the equilibrium iteration, or by the 0° inertia applied as a virtual rise of G. Either method is subject to the agreement of the Administration; the tool states which it used.

In assessment mode the Code's filling rules are applied and stated tank by tank. A variable filling is taken at its governing filling, chosen at the waterplane where the correction applies, heel and trim together: for GM, the filling with the largest surface inertia at the condition's upright waterplane; for GZ by the transfer method, the filling with the largest moment of transfer at the waterplane of each equilibrium of the curve. For each consumable liquid the pair or single tank with the greatest effect, ranked at the same waterplanes, is counted at its governing filling over its range (0 to 98 % when no range is given), even when it is already counted at its actual filling. The tank counted for GZ can therefore change from one heel to the next, and the curve is the envelope. Since the trim of an equilibrium is known only once it is solved, the choice is made again at that trim and the equilibrium solved again while the choice changes, at most six times; a difference left is counted as what the choice may miss.

The tool finds each governing filling by a search over 41 fillings and the fillings where the surface passes a corner of the tank, refines each maximum and checks the search against a coarser one. It is an approximation. Where the check fails, or where a tank has too many corners and the search is bounded instead, the heel is marked; with the transfer method the criteria are assessed again with GZ reduced by what the search may miss, and a criterion whose result changes is marked as not resolved. Where the filling for GM, or the consumable tank with the greatest effect on it, is not resolved, criterion 2.2.4 is marked, and with the inertia method, whose GZ uses the same correction, every criterion. In snapshot mode every partly filled tank counts at its given filling. Tank centres in the weight table are those of the liquid with the ship upright at zero trim, as in the sounding tables.

Inclining experiment

The heeling moment of each movement is the mass moved times its transverse shift; tan φ comes from the pendulum deflection over its length, or from an angle. A straight line is fitted to tan φ against the moment by least squares. It need not pass through the origin; the intercept and the residuals are shown, and the slope gives GM as inclined.

KMT, the displacement and the centre of buoyancy come from the hull at the draughts read, trim included (hull deflection is not modelled), and G is placed on the normal to that waterplane through B. The free surfaces present are removed, and the inclining weights, the liquids and other masses are removed or added to reach the lightship. A simulated experiment computes, for the loading condition given, the exact heel after each movement and then analyses those readings; the difference between the condition's KG and the recovered one is what the straight-line method leaves out.

Reproducibility and privacy

Downloads carry a run record: tool version, configuration, the SHA-256 of every input file, this browser's identification and whether the engine ran in a web worker or, where the browser provides none, on the main thread. The configuration records every input of the run; with the input files it names, it states exactly what was computed. The results can also be saved as a detailed PDF report, which carries the record of the run with every result attached, and as that record alone (Download results JSON), which Open saved results shows again with the inputs of the run; the benchmarks as a PDF report. All are made on this device. Nothing you enter is stored after the page is closed, and nothing is sent anywhere. The page remembers, in this browser only, how it is shown: the theme chosen in the menu, and whether the contents panel is open and how wide.

"You" (or "Your") shall mean an individual or Legal Entity
exercising permissions granted by this License.

"Source" form shall mean the preferred form for making modifications,
including but not limited to software source code, documentation
      source, and configuration files.

"Object" form shall mean any form resulting from mechanical
transformation or translation of a Source form, including but
not limited to compiled object code, generated documentation,
and conversions to other media types.

"Work" shall mean the work of authorship, whether in Source or
Object form, made available under the License, as indicated by a
copyright notice that is included in or attached to the work
(an example is provided in the Appendix below).

"Derivative Works" shall mean any work, whether in Source or Object
form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the
editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications
represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes
of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain
separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of,
the Work and Derivative Works thereof.

"Contribution" shall mean any work of authorship, including
the original version of the Work and any modifications or additions
to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
the copyright owner. For the purposes of this definition, "submitted"
means any form of electronic, verbal, or written communication sent
to the Licensor or its representatives, including but not limited to
communication on electronic mailing lists, source code control systems,
and issue tracking systems that are managed by, or on behalf of, the
Licensor for the purpose of discussing and improving the Work, but
excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."

"Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
      subsequently incorporated within the Work.

   2. Grant of Copyright License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
      worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
copyright license to reproduce, prepare Derivative Works of,
publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the
Work and such Derivative Works in Source or Object form.

   3. Grant of Patent License. Subject to the terms and conditions of
this License, each Contributor hereby grants to You a perpetual,
      worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable
(except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made,
use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work,
where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
as of the date such litigation is filed.

   4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
      meet the following conditions:

      (a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
Derivative Works a copy of this License; and

      (b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
stating that You changed the files; and

      (c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
          the Derivative Works; and

      (d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
          as modifying the License.

You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
the conditions stated in this License.

   5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
      with Licensor regarding such Contributions.

   6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.

   7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or

appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.

   8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

   9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

to that Work or Derivative Works thereof, that is intentionally
submitted to Licensor for inclusion in the Work by the copyright owner
or by an individual or Legal Entity authorized to submit on behalf of
the copyright owner.

Unless required by applicable law or
agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE, REPRODUCTION, AND DISTRIBUTION

   1. Definitions.

"License" shall mean the terms and conditions for use, reproduction,
and distribution as defined by Sections 1 through 9 of this document.

"Licensor" shall mean the copyright owner or entity authorized by
the copyright owner that is granting the License.

"Legal Entity" shall mean the union of the acting entity and all
other entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common
control with that entity. For the purposes of this definition,
"control" means (i) the power, direct or indirect, to cause the
direction or management of such entity, whether by contract or
otherwise, or (ii) ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the
outstanding shares, or (iii) beneficial ownership of such entity.

Unless required by applicable law or
agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.

Unless required by applicable law or
agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.

   END OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

APPENDIX: How to apply the Apache License to your work.

To apply the Apache License to your work, attach the following
boilerplate notice, with the fields enclosed by brackets "[]"
replaced with your own identifying information. (Don't include
the brackets!) The text should be enclosed in the appropriate
comment syntax for the file format. We also recommend that a
file or class name and description of purpose be included on the
same "printed page" as the copyright notice for easier
      identification within third-party archives.

Additional IP Rights Grant (Patents)
------------------------------------

"These implementations" means the copyrightable works that implement the WebM
codecs distributed by Google as part of the WebM Project.

Google hereby grants to you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge,
royalty-free, irrevocable (except as stated in this section) patent license to
make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, transfer, and otherwise
run, modify and propagate the contents of these implementations of WebM, where
such license applies only to those patent claims, both currently owned by
Google and acquired in the future, licensable by Google that are necessarily
infringed by these implementations of WebM. This grant does not include claims
that would be infringed only as a consequence of further modification of these
implementations. If you or your agent or exclusive licensee institute or order
or agree to the institution of patent litigation or any other patent
enforcement activity against any entity (including a cross-claim or
counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that any of these implementations of WebM
or any code incorporated within any of these implementations of WebM
constitute direct or contributory patent infringement, or inducement of
patent infringement, then any patent rights granted to you under this License
for these implementations of WebM shall terminate as of the date such
litigation is filed.

## OpenLibm

OpenLibm contains code that is covered by various licenses.

The OpenLibm code derives from the FreeBSD msun and OpenBSD libm
implementations, which in turn derives from FDLIBM 5.3. As a result, it
has a number of fixes and updates that have accumulated over the years
in msun, and also optimized assembly versions of many functions. These
improvements are provided under the BSD and ISC licenses. The msun
library also includes work placed under the public domain, which is
noted in the individual files. Further work on making a standalone
OpenLibm library from msun, as part of the Julia project is covered
under the MIT license. The test files, test-double.c and test-float.c
are under the LGPL.

Modified by OpenNAOE (2026): only the advance widths (WX) are kept, rearranged by scripts/pdf-fonts.mjs for the
WinAnsi encoding (Helvetica) and for the Unicode characters listed (Symbol, ZapfDingbats); the header values
Ascender, Descender, CapHeight and XHeight of Helvetica are kept. Nothing else is taken from the AFM files.

This file and the 14 PostScript(R) AFM files it accompanies may be used, copied, and distributed for any purpose and
without charge, with or without modification, provided that all copyright notices are retained; that the AFM files are
not distributed without this file; that all modifications to this file or any of the AFM files are prominently noted
in the modified file(s); and that this paragraph is not modified. Adobe Systems has no responsibility or obligation to
support the use of the AFM files.

SIL OPEN FONT LICENSE Version 1.1 - 26 February 2007
-----------------------------------------------------------

PREAMBLE
The goals of the Open Font License (OFL) are to stimulate worldwide
development of collaborative font projects, to support the font
creation efforts of academic and linguistic communities, and to
provide a free and open framework in which fonts may be shared and
improved in partnership with others.

The OFL allows the licensed fonts to be used, studied, modified and
redistributed freely as long as they are not sold by themselves. The
fonts, including any derivative works, can be bundled, embedded,
redistributed and/or sold with any software provided that any
reserved names are not used by derivative works. The fonts and
derivatives, however, cannot be released under any other type of
license. The requirement for fonts to remain under this license
does not apply to any document created using the fonts or their
derivatives.

DEFINITIONS
Font Software refers to the set of files released by the
Copyright Holder(s) under this license and clearly marked as such.
This may include source files, build scripts and documentation.

Reserved Font Name refers to any names specified as such after
the copyright statement(s).

Original Version refers to the collection of Font Software
components as distributed by the Copyright Holder(s).

Modified Version refers to any derivative made by adding to,
deleting, or substituting in part or in whole any of the components
of the Original Version, by changing formats or by porting the Font
Software to a new environment.

Author refers to any designer, engineer, programmer, technical
writer or other person who contributed to the Font Software.

PERMISSION & CONDITIONS
Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person
obtaining a copy of the Font Software, to use, study, copy, merge,
embed, modify, redistribute, and sell modified and unmodified copies
of the Font Software, subject to the following conditions:

1) Neither the Font Software nor any of its individual components,
in Original or Modified Versions, may be sold by itself.

2) Original or Modified Versions of the Font Software may be bundled,
redistributed and/or sold with any software, provided that each
copy contains the above copyright notice and this license. These
can be included either as stand-alone text files, human-readable
headers or in the appropriate machine-readable metadata fields
within text or binary files as long as those fields can be easily
   viewed by the user.

3) No Modified Version of the Font Software may use the Reserved Font
Name(s) unless explicit written permission is granted by the
corresponding Copyright Holder. This restriction only applies to
the primary font name as presented to the users.

4) The name(s) of the Copyright Holder(s) or the Author(s) of the
Font Software shall not be used to promote, endorse or advertise
any Modified Version, except to acknowledge the contribution(s)
of the Copyright Holder(s) and the Author(s) or with their
   explicit written permission.

5) The Font Software, modified or unmodified, in part or in whole,
must be distributed entirely under this license, and must not be
distributed under any other license. The requirement for fonts to
remain under this license does not apply to any document created
   using the Font Software.

TERMINATION
This license becomes null and void if any of the above conditions
are not met.

DISCLAIMER
THE FONT SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED AS IS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT
OF COPYRIGHT, PATENT, TRADEMARK, OR OTHER RIGHT. IN NO EVENT SHALL
THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER
LIABILITY, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR
OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE FONT
SOFTWARE OR FROM OTHER DEALINGS IN THE FONT SOFTWARE.
Verify the download

Each release of this file is published with its SHA-256 checksum, on the tool's page at opennaoe.org and in its Zenodo record. To check that a copy is the released file, compute its checksum and compare the two: on Windows, certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256; on macOS, shasum -a 256 <file>; on Linux, sha256sum <file>. A different value means that the copy is not the released file.
