OpenNAOE is an open resource for students, teachers and engineers in naval architecture and ocean engineering. It draws on more than a decade of my teaching and research, and on what I have learned from mentors, colleagues and students.

A resource like this improves through the corrections and comments of its readers. If you find an error, a step that is hard to follow, a clearer way to explain something, or a result that does not match your experience, please tell me. No comment is too small.

Photographs and videos

Photographs and short videos of real practice, such as an inclining experiment, a model test, a ship in dry dock or a launch, help readers connect the theory with what happens in the field. If you have such material and can share it under CC BY 4.0, please send it. It will be credited to you, or published anonymously if you prefer.
